Our Accompanist

Nibandh Nadkarni

Nibandh Nadkarni began studying classical piano at an early age, performing in recitals and competitions throughout his childhood.  Nibandh has provided piano accompaniment for vocalists, instrumentalists, and dancers.

He has been a piano accompanist for Dundee Middle School and its Belle Voce and Men's Ensemble choirs directed by Mona Roy and Matthew Bishop. His progressive rock group, Parallel Mind, released two albums, Colossus ADEA and Connections. These albums not only showcase Nibandh's talents on the piano and keyboards, but also his creativity with other instrumental sounds, composition, and album production and recording in collaboration with other musicians.

Nibandh was also a keyboardist in the Chicago based band, The Business, a 12-piece band that plays for weddings, corporate functions, and festivals. Nibandh continues to learn more about the technology side of music and applies his studio skills to a variety of music projects. He composed music for the independent film, The Bell Tolls, which was shown at the Naperville Film Festival.

Nibandh is also a cellist and frequently plays in the DuPage Symphony, a community based orchestra located in Naperville, IL, under the direction of Barbara Schubert. In addition to performing, recording, and composing, Nibandh has experience teaching piano lessons to students of all ages.
